Are you ready for the most seminal entity to erupt within the UK underground and independent music scene since the launch of 1Xtra, Kiss 100 or even Radio Caroline?
Are you ready for access to fully legal FM and internet radio, incredible parties, festival stages and cultural events, archived video, music, live performances and interviews?
Are you ready to no longer be able to utter the phrase “I’ve got the skills but there’s no platform for me”?
If you’re ready for all of this and more……….
……..then you’re probably still not ready for Kane FM.
Born as a pirate radio station in the early 90’s, within a few years Kane FM identified the opportunity to prove the ethos behind and the demand for our service. This opportunity took the form of a 28 day RSL (Restricted Service License) that took place in August of 2004. Before this RSL only a small handful of people knew what we do. After that RSL over 77,000 people in over 30 countries knew that Kane FM does nothing less than absolutely smash the granny out of any expectation you ever had about what could be achieved by a UK Independent FM Radio Station! If you don’t beleive us, just ask some of the people who presented our shows including; Sub Focus, Grant Nelson, MJ Cole, True Tiger, Low Life Records etc etc.
Now, only a few months away from the first live broadcast of our official license, we invite you to check us out and get involved.

January 7, 2010 at 1:21 pm #1208534As its the New year we are running another 12 months of our highly acclaimed BEAT POLL ! Every month you get to vote on your favourite track; or upload your newest track if your a producer or engineer.
Just to let you know that the January round of our Beat Poll competiton has just started on the Surrey Advertiser’s “Get Surrey” website.
In the past few months the tunes have been getting really good; got some dark tunes up this month and the tunes that have won the previous rounds have been sick!
So please check it out at Kane FM community – Music – Entertainment – getsurrey and vote for the tune you like best.
Do you have a tune that you’d like to submit to Beat Poll? The competition is open to absolutely anyone from any genre, signed or unsigned and the winner gets a video interview with Kane FM and the Surrey Advertiser, as well as gaining obvious links with the Kane FM radio station. Who knows where that could lead once we’re on air? Being asked to come on air to do a guest mix or interview, or maybe even being asked to host a show. The winners of our first ever Beat Poll are Dubstep producers called Magic Mash and when we met them to do their video interview we got on with them so well that we ended up inviting them to be in charge of the Dubstep genre for Kane FM and now they’re part of our happy family!!
To submit a tune for Beat Poll all you have to do is email your tune (preferably send us a link using yousendit or sendspace or something) to us at beatpoll@kanefm.com . Tunes should be of the highest quality format possible (i.e. 320kbps MP3 or WAV/AIFF). Don’t worry, the tunes can’t be ripped or stolen as we have a sample played over the top of them every minute or so to make them useless to rippers.
So, go to Kane FM community – Music – Entertainment – getsurrey and place your vote and if you have a tune to submit, send it to beatpoll@kanefm.com

This is a great opportunity for anyone who makes music ! Your music will never get known if its hiding in your Hardrive; the worse that could happen is that someone doesnt like it !
