what i meant was e.g.
Until very recently i thought crinkle-cut crisps were more expensive than normal crisps because they make them like normal crisps but then have to buy a big new machine that stamps them all into a crinkle cut shape.
i never questioned this idea until it just came up, felt a bit daft when it got pointed out :hopeless:
