Hi guys, theres a massive fire in my local industrial estate which is right next to my house! It is actually really cool! about 5 warehouses are up in flames as we speak and the flames are really big! I haven’t slept since friday night as well so it’s well surreal!! Bout to go up there and have a look! Hemel ain’t been this exciting since the buncefield explosion!!!! :weee:
This must be the fire they were talking about on the news earlier. I only overheard it whilst eating breakfast so don’t really know the details. Sounds like it was a biggie though.
I don’t think anyone was hurt but I’m not 100% certain.
There were two big fires in Anglia / East region, both in industrial units one major in South Essex and the scrapyard alight in Hemel (which is what Cliffy was presumably going to watch) – as well as loads of smaller ones..
I sometimes wonder if arson is a fairly normal weekend pastime in this area :crazy_diz
I’ve often seen kids setting fire to bins, dry grass and gorse down along the sea wall and cliffs. They usually run off when someone comes close though. I’ve had to call the fire brigade a couple of times when the grass was lit and I was passing on a bikeride.
Hi guys, in the end i couldn’t be bothered to check it out. Nodded out instead! Tbh it looked worse than it was from a distance it looked like them warehouses were ablaze. They actually put the fire out quite quickly as well, I think since Buncefield, the firefighters have got really good at putting fires out! 😉
