hey. i’ve come across this site whilst looking for things to do in Bristol this weekend and thought id better introduce myself.
Im living and studying in London at the moment, really into acid techno and I’m going to visit my mates in Bristol for the first time ever on saturday? does anyone happen to know any good club nights worth checking out….preferably techno and not drum n bass. i’m completely at a loss and have searched online everywhere but cant find anything. Living in london seems to have spoilt me 🙁
anyway good to be on this forum
hopefully i’ll get to know a few more of you

If you lived in scotland could help with the whole acid techno & tech thing but you don’t so i can’t . :crazy:

welcome to partyvibe hetty! Was gonna suggest getting in touch with DJ Fattman but he’s already replied…

AFAIK the main underground venue in Bristol is Lakota although I’m not sure what is on this weekend.

If you want legal events http://www.dontstayin.com also isn’t a bad listings places as it sorts them by region and venue.

cheeers for the reply. i looked on dontstayin but most of the events that came up were funkyhouse (and id rather stay in to be honest :yawn:) but cheers for that. sorry im not down with the forum lingo yet and i cant work out the ‘afaik’
