Hey guys, new bee online here! to be honest im not entirely sure how this works… guess i’ll get used to it!

i’m a very open minded girl in suffolk, looking for some parties that arent you’re generic clubs (they bore me shitless!!). i’ve always wanted to get into the rave scene and (now, im doubting this) wondering what its like in suffolk and if anyone could hook me up! i dont mind travelling, just wanna broaden my horizons so to speak. any info would be awesome

I only moved to Suffolk this time last year and unfortunately it seems that the underground rave scene in the county has been decimated – IMO it was a victim of its own success, all the nice areas got caned, it pissed off the locals so they got the cops to crack down.

there are legal underground events in Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and Lowestoft which are run by ravers and might be worth a try…

which bit of Suffolk are you in? (its a huge county compared to many other places in England)

if you have transport (and can afford the fuel costs) there are raves in Norfolk and SE England within reach as well…

and in reply to the lovely ‘lighting’ dude, yeah, i do have transport and fuel cost are okay so i can travel!

you’re in luck then as TBH most of the action is happening at Studio 3 in BSE – seems to be where all the underground crews seem to congregate these days. There’s loads of events with different genres playing there…

I’ve not had a chance to check it out yet myself but heard good things about the nights there… check our UK Events section, there seems to be something on nearly every weekend these days….

Also the Bio-Tech lot and their friends put on good nights in Lowestoft ….
