Hi Angel, try resetting the language settings for your keyboard, I had this type of problem, kept getting ” instead of @ certain keys not work properly, i changed my keyboard settings which were US default back to english. have no trouble recently. try it to see if it works.

Angel, your original problem is most definitely a malfunctioning shift key which was staying in the “on” position so any key you pressed was acting as if you had the shift key held down, hence using caps lock would reverse it for the letters.

Now that it is fixed I’m not sure what your new problem is but I’d hazzard a guess that it is all to do with the same issue. Sounds like your keyboard is faulty. Have you spilt any liquids on it recently?
