welcome – we do get a steady stream of US ravers joining up (some from FL) but people often expect to instantly find loads of info about parties and don’t stick around when its not there; which is a shame as I’ve often seen this happen and just a week later some event which (I think) is in their area gets advertised. (that happens for the British and European people as well)

Unfortunately I do not know where may places are in the USA and what I do know is heavily influenced by TV and movies from about 20 or so years ago which is probably an incorrect depiction of modern America :laugh_at:

I do think at least one of the US promoters who puts up loads of events here is somewhere near FL….

Welcome! I’m new too. As far as I can tell the people posting are from literally EVERYWHERE. Hopefully more people join here. Some of the main sites I used to go to closed down a while ago.

Ok…..thats like going through a fog weed…..hahaha….. ravelinks, raveworld, and some obscure smaller ones based out of the Computer Industry group before the Great Industry Crash. I forgot…… because there was so much drugs! Hahahahah.

Regarding the Computer Industry……that was a FUN TIME MAN. If you knew computers you were SET, thousands of kids either working for a computer company or did a internet startup were Millionaires or were seeing twice as much as their parents just by doing customer service for some unknown software company that probably got only 2 or 3 calls in one weeks worth of work. One company even gave a bonus check of 1 MILLION DOLLARS TO THEIR JANITOR because they were making so much money.

Thousands of kids that were knowledgable with computers received tons of money FAST and IN BULK. 12 year old techie wiz kids that were too young to buy several sports and luxury cars instead invested, bought houses, threw parties, and would just spend tons of money on drugs. This was behind everyones back…..heck even some PARENTS.

Just ask alot of the top dj’s that disappeared from all the main roster because they’ve been BOOKED year to year for the past 16 years man. Five, Ten times the amount any large party was throwing, just to spin for a crowd of 2 or something. Computer Industry behind every body’s back meant MONEY WAS WATER.

I was self taught with computers, but I wasn’t a programmer, I still saw more money than alot of non techies (it’s a new frontier STILL where I was a techie…….but thats something else….).

ANYWAY, if life gets back to the way it was, THEN alot of the new partiers will see how crazy the parties got. Things are so tame and boring now. Its like life is in box or something.
