          all in the last 3months i would say..bar no.3, thats about 6months old

            its ok, use to have a fair bit of it, stuff on enormous mouse, buzzbee, mert wax etc. right? its good, but its not oldskool. a lot of it sounds over produced and a lot like nuskool breaks (which i hate), though some stuff is really good especially the stuff by brainstormer, the new basement records label should be realy good.

              Do you think it’s trying to be though? I think it’s taking the old skool sound and revamping it to give it a new slant.

              The stuff listed above is NuSkool breaks mate, so I wouldn’t suggest downloading it 😉

              Haven’t listened yet, but looks like some decent tunes in there Vera.

                yes the debate…what do u call this sort of stuff

                there are a few old skool re-takes on this mix, i d have a and ols/nu skool mix about on this site somewhere if you wanna hear the difference

                i personally have been calling the above Drum & Breaks as there are alot of d&b elements in there……tis alot tougher than your avg break mix…..i like the harder stuff better than i do the lighter stuff
