what did make me laugh is this post on partyflock where there was a serious and accurate discussion about both audio and safety earth of outdoor rigs. That wasn’t the comedy bit, it was something really subtle you’d only notice if you had some knowledge of both Dutch and electrical engineering.

The Dutch choose their words carefully, and the one this chap used gave the impression that earth points were provided randomly at some places outdoors for anyone what might want to set up a sound system…

it turns out they may well be – they are intended for campers to use (even if there is 230V on site, so any sources of leccy all have same earth point – smart!) but no reason why they could not be used for a small sound system…
