What’s going on? Bit complicated now innit?!
I used to be able to just click download, and it would download the file. All I want is a couple of mixes that I had to delete when I changed computer (thanks to my goody-goody MP3 player software).
I’ve downloaded the e-mule thing, and clicked on the files I want to download. They’re now in ‘transfers’ and it says ‘waiting’.
I assume I now need to click on a server and connect? But they all have dodgy names like viderotix and sexymoovie. Being as this is my work pc I need to be a little bit carefull what I click on.
Any advice appreciated.

What should I do now?The best thing to do is remove the majority of servers except from the donkey and razorback ones, and go into your emule settings and disable server list updates and all those options. Regardless once you’re connected to a server you should start downloading soon enough. File sharing’s a bit slower than a straight web download but it’s a very powerful way to find the files you need. It also gurantees they’re always available…

Belgian and Swiss police yesterday shut down Razorback 2.

March 5, 2006 at 8:34 pm #1068628seeing as e-mule etc (peer-to-peer servers) are riddled with virus’s, why use them? Torrents are far better, however watch out as authorities are starting to crack down on the use of them. I think the best way to download music is to find the file on the net, you know when you click on a file and it brings up a quicktime page, then right click and download the file.
