Does anyone have any programs/software they recommend for making flyers and posters?

im not too good with it, but adobe photoshop and illustrator are meant to be the ‘industry standard’ programs . got a mate whos pretty skilled with em and the results are pretty impressive.

both are available from http://www.forumw.org for free.

i use adobe photoshop and illustrator for my flyers

illustrator is good for more cartoony kinda things and playin with fonts

expensive to buy, although i think u can rob them through websites

at work we use photoshop for images themselves and Adobe InDesign for the actual desktop publishing

both are quite expensive and getting a bit of training won’t go amiss. a local print shop might do a couple hour session on InDesign for £30. it will be money well spent as you can waste hours if you have no idea how it works and save hours if you do

I prefer Paint Shop Pro XI to photoshop, but it takes a bit longer to get your head around. Worth it when you do though.

Sometimes even Youtube can be useful for short guides on specific things.
