Anyone seen the campaign to get ‘Rage Against the Machine – Killing in the Name’ number one for xmas?
I don’t usually get involved with these sort of things but if it beats that X factor tune then I’m all for it!!
Even heard Simon Cowell moaning about it earlier, he’s such a bell end. :crazy_diz 😉
December 14, 2009 at 9:21 pm #1221444yeah i allread planing on buying it
perfect song to fuck over simon plastic face machine cowellDecember 14, 2009 at 9:21 pm #1221451yep, fully support it, this xfactor stuff is .. shit
December 14, 2009 at 9:42 pm #1221433I bought it on Amazon for 29p and was told by my brother it doesn’t count.
I then bought it on Itunes for a quid which does count.
It’s 69p on Play but alas i was told that after i bought it on Itunes lol!
Come on it’s gotta get to number 1!!!!!!!
December 14, 2009 at 9:59 pm #1221445arn’t you suposed to buy it the week b4 christmas? .. not two weeks b4?
December 14, 2009 at 10:05 pm #1221434I dunno but surely if it’s number one by then it won’t matter. At least this way if more people get on board early on then it has a high chance of getting to no 1!
I really hope it does beat that x factor shite, ever since i heard Simon-I’ve-got-a-fat-head-Cowell moan i’m throwing my full support behind the campaign.
December 14, 2009 at 10:11 pm #1221464yeah the misses was going about about this apparently we are getting 2 copies! cant moan too much as I downloaded all their albums years ago, 1.50 is the least I can do.
December 14, 2009 at 10:13 pm #1221435Just don’t buy the single twice from the same site 84. Invalidates it and doesn’t count apparently.

December 15, 2009 at 2:08 pm #1221422It’s even made ITV news today :you_crazy
December 15, 2009 at 2:58 pm #1221452looks like its going good… its ahead of the xfactor tune in the charts atm by something like 10% i think it said
December 16, 2009 at 5:52 am #1221423Today, the Official Charts Company said Rage Against the Machine were 10% ahead on sales, and HMV also reported that the angry anthem was outselling McElderry’s ballad 10-1.
But there are signs that the Facebook campaign is losing momentum. The Climb sent Killing in the Name tumbling down iTunes’s best-selling songs list today, and the newly crowned prince of reality TV pop will launch the CD version of his song tomorrow. HMV predicted: “Whilst it’s true that, since Sunday night, quite a few more fans have been downloading the Rage track, we believe this trend will be reversed in a big way once the physical CD single of Joe’s The Climb officially goes on sale.”Rage against Cowell fuels battle for Christmas No 1 | Music | The Guardian

Yeah but i don’t think that’s what it’s all about tho dude.
It ain’t about the money, it’s to stand up and say we don’t want some cheesy shit x factor tune as number one.
What better way than with a tune that has “Fuck you i won’t do what you tell me” as lyrics! raaa
