Anyone seen the campaign to get ‘Rage Against the Machine – Killing in the Name’ number one for xmas?

I don’t usually get involved with these sort of things but if it beats that X factor tune then I’m all for it!!

Even heard Simon Cowell moaning about it earlier, he’s such a bell end. :crazy_diz 😉

I bought it on Amazon for 29p and was told by my brother it doesn’t count.

I then bought it on Itunes for a quid which does count.

It’s 69p on Play but alas i was told that after i bought it on Itunes lol!

Come on it’s gotta get to number 1!!!!!!!

I dunno but surely if it’s number one by then it won’t matter. At least this way if more people get on board early on then it has a high chance of getting to no 1!

I really hope it does beat that x factor shite, ever since i heard Simon-I’ve-got-a-fat-head-Cowell moan i’m throwing my full support behind the campaign.

reminds me of playing it full tilt when pissed off with my parents…..

the only thing is me dad was an electrician then and had wired up our bedrooms seperatley and just turned our electricity off to our bedrooms when I didnt turn it down

ah i can empathise, we blasted fuck tha police from my room loads and me mam hated it

we had a agreement in the crew and played it when the police interviewed us if the interview was done at home, aaah i was such a tool at that age! proper stereotypical teenage angst shit haha

Today, the Official Charts Company said Rage Against the Machine were 10% ahead on sales, and HMV also reported that the angry anthem was outselling McElderry’s ballad 10-1.
But there are signs that the Facebook campaign is losing momentum. The Climb sent Killing in the Name tumbling down iTunes’s best-selling songs list today, and the newly crowned prince of reality TV pop will launch the CD version of his song tomorrow. HMV predicted: “Whilst it’s true that, since Sunday night, quite a few more fans have been downloading the Rage track, we believe this trend will be reversed in a big way once the physical CD single of Joe’s The Climb officially goes on sale.”

Yeah but i don’t think that’s what it’s all about tho dude.

It ain’t about the money, it’s to stand up and say we don’t want some cheesy shit x factor tune as number one.
