Synopsis: The video conceit is a silent film trip to the circus and there’s plenty of subtitled foolin’ around unspooling here with a good white clown and a bad black one battling for the affection of a blonde babe. Singer Debbie Harry is a snazzily dressed twisted big-top barker singing the story. Happily, the band isn’t going back to the silent era for its musical inspiration, but is harkening back somewhat to their Call Me era vibe for an updated disco-pop-rock sound. Good boys never win, but this cut is a winner for the band.
