Here’s the mental rave version (Lagoa Extreme Mix?) of DJPC – “Inssomniak” (1991):
There’s another version, think it’s the same tune, that goes “Inssomniak – i’ll be back”
Anyway, has anyone noticed how the technobass scratch at the very start of the song is EXACTLY like the vinyl scratching on Herbie Hancock’s “Rockitt” (from the very early 80s)? Except they used a different sound on Inssomniak. So how did they get the riff just right, but use a different instrument? Careful hands on the pitchbend wheel l suppose.June 11, 2007 at 9:34 pm #1077117
yeah that tune was out in 1990 AT PARTYS. but have to :bounce_fl re mention “Humanoid by StAKKER “June 11, 2007 at 9:54 pm #1077072RajParticipant

it is from ca -85(maybe before..) dj version, blank label, it got carvings on the blank “GCT2”
and it is a new york mix….the pressing is from timtom cbs and heavy 12 inch vinyl(deep pressing/good sound)….if anyone know more of this project, please inform me….but anyhow this tune kicks ass!

As for my fave tracks, so many….
but I would go for Voodoo Ray (A Guy Called Gerlad), Acid Tracks (Phuture) and Fingers Inc (Can You Feel It – the Martin Luther King version).

A few that are always at the forefront though are:
Egyptian Empire – The Horn
Hyper On Experience – Lord of the Null Lines
Immersion – Plastik
Ils – Music (evil nine remix)
the first two are ace, as is the last one – i cant find immersion plastik anywhere tho, can anyon help us out?September 4, 2007 at 6:45 am #1077056suffolkravasParticipant

its, a bit old…Richie Hawtin (if you dont know who Richie hawtin is, where have you lived the dance scene in the last 15 years?) declared the best track of 2006, and today I can’t still get it out of my head…
