      anyone seen the film Baraka ? watched it t’other night was stunning. the film was shot over 13 mnths in 24 countries and shows man’s relationship with the earth, both harmonious and destructive.

          think it will be… av borrowed it off a friend, she bought it from FOPP records in sheffield so likely be in most stores

            i’ve never managed to watch it all in one go… but seen parts of it in some pretty unusual locations.. is inspirational

            first heard about it about 13 years ago, but never been able to get hold of a copy.. i’d be surprised if it was in any mainstream shops

              a quick google search seems to indicate its widely available from the usual DVD sellers…

                If you like Baraka, you’ll love POWAAQATSI (I think that’s the spelling) and its other half, which also ends in -ATSI – same kind of thing, mad visuals, panavision/imax quality, fantastic music.
