In one of them moods, need to go out and have some fun, let off some steam etc. I met this girl on the train earlier I thought I recognised so I ended up in conversation about going out partying etc,and it made me remember how boring my life is, when I said “no I haven’t been to the volks or concorde for over a year” What the hell happened to me?? Then when she was like oh you should come to this night tonight I was like “ummm no I can’t sorry” I felt I have really slipped into a horrid place.
I gotta get a grip on things quick before I know it i’m gonna be washed up doing the knitting on a saturday night. DEAR LORD NOOOOO.
Seriously though I gotta sort it out.

this happened to me from about 24-29
I thought I was ok, happily going to the pub etc, but I ended up in a free party in solford and then found here, and got right back on it but in a more sensible (sort of) way compared to when I was youngerbut we dont go out a huge ammount – every few months (as in party) – mainly money and job influences – but I’ve been out this last sat, wed and thus and I’m knackered!! so its back to balance!
but I was like this totally last fri – hence I ended up in the royal festival hall seeing lucinda willians (as friends were going – and i had no one else to go out with) I so wanted to dance (and I recon in any other venue you would as she rocked it) but I ended up the only one in the festie hall dancing!! literally – til my mate joined me!! ha ha !!
so looking forwards to dec 1st as this is the next time we out

I really can’t, I have no cash cos i’m in the middle of moving and I have a ball and chain that prevents me from going out by using harsh guilt tactics (don’t tell her I said that FFS)

We are going to the midlands for a legal event with a sound system we know for their 19th birthday – so if you can get up there youre more than welcome to join us!
(I think its legal – its an all nighter in a warehouse but i think they have permission)

it is a treck, but Marcus’s mates are totally awesome and such a good party atmos – not like lundun at all – and id rather do the drive to be honest – esp now we have to van and can just kip in there, or crash at someones if its not an out doors one
as i do like a sleep! :yawn:
November 16, 2012 at 11:45 pm #1262574I never got to go through the party every weekend stage, always worked weekends and then became a mummy.
I like how it is now, I have a big night out once a month and the remaining three weeks I just take it easy 🙂Before the littleun I used to be on it a lot but it was never that great.
Now I go out less I tend to do something worthwhile like go to a gig/show or a big party.Still…i might have a second youth when I’m a cougar I wouldn’t mind experiencing the full on party scene.
I’l def be hitting up some outdoors parties in the midlands next summer :p
November 17, 2012 at 12:03 am #1262579partying every weekend takes its toll, turns you into a run-down mess, it begins taking longer and longer to recover, that your still recovering from the past weekend and having to take larger quantities of drugs to keep up, resulting in an even worse comedown, too much absense from work, not the best track record to have. but most importantly health wise you just end up destroying it. You get fatigue over the smallest things and you catch illness an aweful lot, I’m only 27 and its been the past year i have begun feeling the severe results of my early 20’s lifestyle ➡

I will the year after perhaps 🙂We are always miles away from the boys but you must come visit for tea and beer 🙂 and meets lovely van, already looking forward to it, and brought jump leads so we don’t get stuck again like we did this yr
