its legal to order but not to consume, but at the same time if the site has been investigated its a no-brainer for HMRC to get the addresses of all customers, and pass them through to each local constabulary drugs squad as “soft intelligence” that customers of such sites are clearly willing to at least try and bend the law and “therefore may be involved in other forms of recreational drug use”.

the wider problem here was the mainstream media ran loads of articles on modafinil in summer and the place became very popular with students – then a backlash occured from the unis as there was disagreement over whether using this stuff is “cheating” ( especially students were dealing it in halls etc as its seen as less “scummy” then amfet)

also the gym / hard man types started combining it with coke and steroids, so it just raised the profile too high…

one positive thing is it seems the extra energy / sharpness of mind are permanent when this stuff is used correctly (this can be done with amfet but has more risks due to exhaustion and lack of sleep/food as well as the stuff being illegal!)

I am cycling 380 miles every month as well and most of the time doing this completely sober which helps – TBH its getting to the stage where I no longer “want/need” drugs every weekend compared to what I was like a few years back…
