this is the cat house, that window (overlooking the marina) was where the lamp was lit let to smugglers know there was no customs patrols (and the cat would sit there as it would have been a large oil lamp which made the place warm. Today the location is used as a reporting point so the harbourmaster can keep track of all the ships (anything from small yachts to big container vessels) which is the sample at the start of the mix.. there are lots of these points but the cat house is halfway between Ipswich and the North Sea.

Glad to see you give back storeys to your album artwork.
One thing I will mention is that Biotech said in a post a while ago that soundcloud had been removing peoples mixes due to copyright infringement. He was saying something about being reluctant to post tracklists beacuse of this. I don’t know if the problem has been resolved now, or if I just dreamt the whole thing up LOL
July 15, 2012 at 2:01 pm #1255906I’ve temporarily shifted the tracklist here – though I think it depends on the attitudes of the labels. TBH I’d get clearance for the tracks but €300 a year is a bit much for one person, unless they are a mobile DJ and the impression I get is that most NL trance producers don’t mind individual non commercial use, especially as tracklists help folk find out what the records actually are!
Its usually the US labels which are worst – and I wouldn’t have started buying music again were it not for other DJ’s like Dj Mumbles and Robbie 4 Ever including tracklists…
also including a sample of the harbourmaster is a bit naughty in this country (against Ofcom rules) though in NL you are allowed to stream the audio from your scanner!
