March 25, 2010 at 6:15 pm #1224559There’s lots of old hippies, but not as many old ravers. the obvious difference being that real hippies do positive stuff outside mere hedonism….
this forum has always attracted an older age group (when I was in my 20s and this place first started there were much older folk on here)
ironicaly mephedrone does seems to have encouraged a fair few 30 somethings “back to the scene” but I doubt that so many will continue to take risks when the stuff becomes illegal – at our age group its more a case of taking a slightly greater risk with health problems to avoid the risk of being nicked…
also at our age group, there’s many parents but not everyones a happy family, so a lot of people give up raving as their ex might dob them in to social services and they lose custody of the kids or access rights..
