So I’m looking for some good Acid Techno vinyl. Having just entered this world it’s a mind field to say the least.
So far I’ve been digging on Juno and Discogs (with the help of acidtekno.com). Set up a want list on discogs under ‘madpsy’ and got a fair few added already.
What I’ve learnt so far is most UK labels link back to SUF in one way or another so after some inspiration so I don’t end up with an entire SUF collection. Found a few already (look at my want list if you can be arsed) but putting out it there to all you acid techno fans for some recommendations of must haves etc.
Any suggestions appreciated!!!!! raaaraaaJune 28, 2013 at 9:37 pm #1274343

When you say a lot of acid techno all links back to suf, yeah well i suppose everybodys all involved, when it’s london everybody in the scene knows everybody, the acid techno world.
Everything is all linked some way or another. It’s really weird to think about it from your point of view.. I’m now trying to think back years ago when i would have been thinking the same thing :s
When you hear a dj or producer that you like then do some research on his/her inspirations, and then that dj’s inspirations and so on until you can eventually be led right back to the beginning of the ‘links’ if that makes sense?
You might like to check out labels like c.o.s.h.h. Hydraulix, headrush tactics, The well paid scientists (have a heavy metal element to them, it’s great)
But yeah, you’re not really getting away from being led back to SUF unless you go to detroit.
immersion, smitten(Cos you like DDR i see). A&E department. There’s loads more but.
Never thought I’d see the day madpsy?! :crazy:June 30, 2013 at 5:32 pm #1274334p0lyParticipantJune 30, 2013 at 6:47 pm #1274337

Thanks for the pointers, some in there I like and others are lacking a nice bass line. Managed to find a fair few belting tracks from holland, france and detroit. I’m sure some more youtube vids will follow :crazy:July 4, 2013 at 7:27 pm #1274338
