I understand the basic idea on how wormholes work.
Think of space like a flat sheet of paper, you need to get from the bottom left corner to the top right. What’s the fastest way? You bend the paper so the two ends are next to each other. Same principle with wormholes, for every physical object that exist, it’s size bends space slightly, if space bends enough and two ends meet, a wormhole is formed. I’m not so sure about wormholes bending time though, thats all sorts of tricky.
