you live on the Norfolk borders though…. People are a bit more indulgent towards this sort of stuff there…(how much longer for I don’t know though)…
I’m talking about the area nearer the Essex border…. Before I moved here I checked out loads of sites/on line communities, got in touch with a few people from the area and I’ve got the impression that Southern Suffolk / North Essex did have a scene but the areas got rinsed and there was a backlash – so people were genuinely put off by clampdowns or just gave up.
I’ve not seen many ravers from Ipswich on messageboards either – not here, SJ or anywhere else. Or even people from Colchester…or other places the other side of the Stour..
A few clubbers on dontstayin but even they go to Norwich…
Most ravers (at least the online ones) are from Norwich and surrounding areas.
There are a handful of people near Bury, some of whom I’ve been in touch with but where are the rest? Ipswich is a fucking huge town compared to many other places round here – there are as many young people as Norwich….
