apparently TVP busted in a door (with the permission of the Proctors) and hauled everyone out, but from what I’ve seen of the Radcliffe Camera (its called that because of the original sense of the Latin word, an enclosed space into which light is admitted), it is on a number of levels and looks like there are a fair number of places you could quietly hide up in 😉

one thing I feel strongly about is that if Universities are funded by our taxes, even if you aren’t a student you should be able to enter the library, and although not normally able to withdraw books from there you should be able to at least look at them in a quiet reference area…

I’ve not tried this yet at UCS as most of the place appears completely locked off to non-students :rant:
