TBH Moonie’s probably way better off not working for a nutter like that, especially on a job what can be dangerous. young people do actually get killed that way and often through stupidity / greed rather than overt malice from their management, just recently a lad not much older (but already a father) had been sent to work 200 miles away in the roof space of this right on yoghurt weaver organic farm in SE England (Brighton).
Not sure what his trade was or why on earth that supposedly right on company was getting tradesmen from North Essex when Brighton has lots of young people needing work – but the combination of a 5am start to travel 200 miles and inevitable tiredness (1 year old kids tend to wake up in the night and need feeding etc) meant the poor bugger didn’t notice a energised 230V cable in the roof space and was electrocuted. HSE and feds are investigating and a friendly old chap I know asked me to look into the case so he can avoid such risks and make things safer for his younger staff, but it won’t bring that lad back..
