last time someone in the USA tried anything of the sort (and he was from a computer company, not even the entertaintment industry) he was dragged out of his office by armed feds soon afterwards and accused of not just drugs offences but false accounting and all sorts! He managed to get off the charges but don’t forget there is a very strong puritan/conservative element in the USA with real power.
