Please could you invite an old man and an old woman who live near each other and are lonely to tea. At the tea please give them Mr. Kipling french fancies, but not the horrible lemon ones, and then sit with them and eat cake and drink tea and chat. because that’s what I want to do when I’m old. And it’ll make me happy.

I have bowls of pot pourri in my room and I stash in that or I used to have a fireplace which was blocked up with a piece of wood and I used to put stuff on the wood and slide it back into place to block it. It’s different though cos I clean my own room, it’s just unfortunate we have a crazy landlord who turns up ALL the time.

I’ve got a Ka and I love it. It does everything, it’s cheap to fix and it’s quite nice, plus it’s SO cheap to run.
