That’s exactly what i’ve been looking for lately.

I found stuff more like sped up and bassy, techno-ish as well.

People like SPL, Raiden, COOH, the Sect.

Only problem is, there isn’t a HUGE deal of variation, so i reckon good for using in between two big tunes if you’re mixing, but not really that amazing to listen to on your own.

Does anybody know of any tunes (and people who make tunes) like Hydra by Spor?

          It’s funny that observation.
People now know that there are actually quite a number of good rigs in norfolk now, ok a VERY small number in comparison to the totaly shite ones but it shows we’re getting better.

We all get tarred with the same brush, but i reckon the tar is slowly dripping off.

Hell, i’m from Norfolk and i reckon i can say that my small system is pretty good.

I realised this morning that it isn’t just the rigs. Was being a bit ignorant. It’s the whole attitude as well. FUCK THA PO-LICE etc etc

Well hopefully the up and comming generation will change stuff for the better, and i’m not talking about just Norfolk.

I’m currently doing a Music Technology course at my 6th form, currently, being like, as of last Wednesday (start of September 07).

I think I’ve seen somewhere that you’re 16, so i guess we may full well be doing the same course.

What the course breakdown is, as i have been told is basically:

-Using Cubase, as a main mixing program etc.
-Learning to do recordings of guitar, drums, bass, vocals, piano etc.
-Using Sibleius, (you may not use it, be we do, it doesn’t, however, really play a big part).
-Learning about production techniques and stuff.

I reckon it’s gonna be wicked to be honest. ‘Cos like at the moment, i’ve nearly finished me 2 HD15’s, mates getting some Mid Tops, are at least he better be, and i’m building 2 more HD’s at Christmas. So hopefully it’ll all tie in nicely.

As for genre, the lady seems to be classical with us (flutes, clarinet etc, and the use of sibelius) and the man is more modern rock etc. I don’t actually mind either.
I mean to be honest if you like the Hungarian Album (with the un-pronoucable name) by Venetian Snares, you actually learn to respect how awesome a style of music classical is, and how it actually does sound pretty damn good along side breakcore and jungle etc. Whether or not the lady will like my adaptations of her beloved classical peices is another thing, but all the same, i like it.

So yeah, i think it’s gonna be good, and will give like a really good foundation for other areas later on. Uni etc.

                  All the best. Tom.

I was looking forward to the drum and bass tent, but one of my pet hates is MCs. They ruin completely good songs, i’m not saying all do, but it is my opinion, and so i didn’t end up going there a great deal, if at all.

Yeah i agree, in the Psy Trance tent on Saturday, the smell was so damn sweet, i’m not against it, far from it, but it was quite rum after a while.

The only time i went in the reggae tent was for Zion Train, who were fucking amazing i might add xD, but yeah it was strong in there as well.

Psy Trance was definately the best.

                          Bring on 2008. raaa
