Dr Bunsen’s indeed great, and you’re a fine specimen too Karen! How are you these days? Been a while since we chatted…

was very fond of all kinds of metal/rock/core, and still am to a lesser extent (still very much like early Sepultura, they stink now). After conversion to goa/psytrance there wasn’t room for much else, but nowadays I just as easily listen to Roxy Music (while ironing or doing dishes) as to Scorn (spliffed out on the couch), as to an assortment of illbient or sledgehammertechno/schranz.

Last weekend Mixmaster Morris did his thang on Photonic, accompanied by trippy visuals, playing all sorts of music…. Highly enjoyable too.

Heck, even a cheesy disconight (the orange/brown combinations! Humongous sunglasses! Afros!) is fun!

Seen (secondhand?) vinyl behind the counter, dunno whether it was for sale or not. I’m sure their staff will happily let you know. And otherwise they have their assortment of psytrance CDs(by label, easier to navigate perhaps).

              Hope this helps!

As a commuter, I read Metro every weekday (distributed for free in trainstations) and one day they had a contest where you could win free duo-tickets for a Plump DJs gig in Bruges. Contended and won! Needless to say I had a blast, eargasmic boogies and lots of rhythm!

                Anyone heard Precision Cuts lately?

I have to disagree on this one. It’s not about this or that music. There’s people in scenes, and there’s music. If you discern between those two, then you there are condescending people just about everywhere, also in the party scene. I just listen to whatever music I like, and I couldn’t care less what other people might think of that. It’s your own choice, nobody else’s… Every now and then I listen to cheesy music, especially when my fridge can’t deliver 😉

Hmmmmmmm…. I feel like burning a church, better listen to some Viking metal and sublimate. Techno nor DnB could help me here :p
