      In some old furniture bought for a reminiscence room at work was a 1971 local newspaper…

      At least if they couldn’t have their pop festival, someone with deep enough pockets could have a disco with two of the “single player transcription units” from Wakelins wireless and and amp and speakers, but they might have had to build their mixer from components. At least they could build the DJ both from a few railway sleepers to keep the needles from jumping 🙂

          AHAHAAH, I just noticed this …. I was wondering to my self before if Leslie was still trading, as I was in search of large pieces of wood a year or so ago to turn into a wing chun wooden dummy, but then I remembered it was telegraph poles I was after, not railway sleepers. 🙁
