Hi 1984 , was you being towed by tow rope ? it aint fun i know . Last time i was towed i was on the brakes all the time . Still thats what happens when you tie your car to the 12:00 train on platform 1 from lincoln to london !!!!! beats congestion charge lol

yeah it was a rope, and stretched across from left to right instead of strait, and the fact u cant see where ur going doesnt help, kept going slack. Fuck doing that again tbh

Well 1984 you gotta keep the line tight with your brakes , but of course if you have brake assisted servo’s the brakes dont work to great unless the engine is running in which case my advise is break the whole trip back lol , it dont work but makes you feel better . If all else fails hand brake but thats a whole different world of pain lol .

yeah the brakes were crap, and my dad went a bit too fast, and we didnt have a straight line which didnt help. More annoyed though that my car is dead, pairents trying to bail me out and get me a new one but it just sucks. Dont like rents buying me stuff like that and yeah its just rubbish.

the engine is fucked, head gasket seems fuck, oil leaking over the engine, bunny hops down the road, odd juddering shaking the car. Rear wiper wont work, left car lock wont open the car, filler cap wont work. Its 2000 model Ford so its not worth spending the cash to fix it, would be more or close to the value of the car.

just check oil to see if its emulsified ( milky ) and check the radiator reservoir to see if oil is in there . Also did it over heat ? and did you get alot of smoke from the exhaust ?

just might not be the head gasket , might be the rocker box gasket …..or something else which might not be that expensive

its a possibility but the body work is also fucked, rusty and cracked, so by the time you add up all the problems I am unsure its worth it. Fords are not exactly known for long term reliability.

more of a loan from the parents and a tiny bit of savings but it does seen like the best long term solution. We will see what happens.
