May 1, 2008 at 12:28 pm #1161527fair play to you…
surely you can’t make a living from just selling aubergines? is this like some sort of modern day costermongers type job selling all sorts of high quality fruit and veg but instead of having a wheelbarrow its all done over the internet?
Incidentally Mike Slammer and DJ Red Alert (from slammin’ vinyl) had a fruit and veg stall on Enfield Market and its what funded their first releases..

if you want to improve your spelling start learning to use Word but make sure you turn on the correct language so you don’t end up writing like a yank and don’t blindly trust the spellchecker or you could be sending out proper rubbish without knowing it…

May 1, 2008 at 12:49 pm #1161529I dunno why but nearly everyone I have met from East London/South Essex sort of area from ages 18-30 seems to have that problem. its nothing to do with being stupid either because some of them are very intelligent people and have had a reasonable education..
I wonder if they did some wierd experimental thing with all you lot in junior school (no, not put stuff in the food, just like when they were teaching you to read or write..)

lol …well what i have found is that the people that seem to be of a similer charicter to me .. ie. up for a laugh and not to seriose about life all have the same sought of problem .. i think it just might be that we never payed attention at school .. most of my knolage comes from what i have picked up by my self ..apart from the few subjects that interested me at school that had good teachers … and the same seems to go for alot of my m8s from school … there tended to be a noticable diferance between certain peoples abilitys and teaching methods .. its gonna sound a bit cleache …but people that were in the bottom set of english were taugh a diferant way to those in the top sets … that much is obviose .. but that leads me to think that they just havent got it right with regards to the lower sets education … if a pupil is doing well at some thing and they find it easy/natural to do what they are being taugh .. then there is little teaching needed as they will work it out by them selves with ease … this applyed to me in my science and maths classes the most … and my english was abismle … but others who where good at english were not nessaseraly so good in other areas … this makes me think two things .. one that the suport for people in schools that are behind in certain subjects isn’t up to scratch .. and that the education system needs to be more specialist ie. abolish the national curiclum and have diferant taylor made schooling for each individual .. or gropes of people with the same kind of interest (to make it not so complicated compared to individual tutoring in schools as they just not got the time, teachers or cash for that)
