I would just like this oppurtunity to apologize and to set the record straight. During one of my posts to General Lighting I stated that I was of Asian origin. This is not the case. The only reason i can give for telling this silly lie is that I have a great affinity with India and her people. I do have a British asian cousin and I extended this into saying that I had Indian roots. Please accept my apologie for this act of folly and once again thank you so much for your continuing support. Wow my emotions are now flooding back and I write this with tears in my eyes:cry: .

don’t worry about it 🙂

mind you from the way you write and your usage of English (bear in mind this board is international and I see a lot of different forms of English on here) it does actually come across that you have spent a considerable amount of time either in India or with people from India….

Indeed I find the fact that in a country suffering from the wider effects of war and currently blighted by nationalism and racism that you even were prepared to be thought of as Asian quite heartening 🙂
