we don’t have an “anti-norfolk” or anti-anywhere bias as its completely pointless in a climate where ravers worldwide must work together to protect their culture against increasing interference from law enforcement agencies….

one of our mods is from the area as are many of our users!

although I can see why the ravers in that area sometimes get flak for bad venue choices this happens in the whole UK – in my area (Thames Valley) we’ve also been locked down because certain crews rinsed certain areas way too often and pissed off the locals.

I’ve never had the chance to attend a rave in the area and don’t believe second-hand reports that much, although media and cops can’t get away with lying about as there are many witnesses nowadays so many reports of damage/disruption are authentic..

In many areas where raves are popular there are clearly some big issues and problems but I hope the people there can move beyond them so they can keep their scene going..

No it’s the gallery that has been taken down mate. The forum still works fine. I doubt it will be coming back online again either so I hope you know someone that had saved some of the pics.

its not that bad TBH – just simple reality and a realisation in a diverse world that not everyone shares our views or beliefs and we can’t live in “bubble” thinking our events are not noted by others….

before the internet people used to keep their photos in albums, and share them with others by getting reprints of negatives. Nowadays you can do the same with CD-Rs and USB memory sticks and best of all with digital you don’t lose quality on copying.

its always good to keep your own backups of important stuff like photos/music anyway, there are lots of links between you and a web-based storage service and complicated bits of kit that can go wrong or even be deliberately shut down to prevent access to controversial material…
