that is good news, at least some good has come out of the bombings. the new cyclists may be a traffic hazard now, and be doing it for laughable reasons, but they’ll soon learn to love the rush of wind in their hair, and the omnipotent veiw cyclists have over the road, as well as settling into better road habits.
i find it funny that people are like “is it safe to go to london now?” when surely you are much more likely to be mugged or drugged and raped by a londoner than you are to be blown up by a terrorist. londons such a dodgy place it would take some nukes to pose a significant threat.
also wanna wax lyrical about cycling. i just got my bike fixxed after a few years off it ( in bristol i got my back wheel kicked in twice) and im loving it. im cycling the 6 miles to work, and the 13 to a mates house, no probs. i was well worried, cos back when i was 16 i could cycle 60 miles in a day and still go out and pull at night. but i recon i havent slipped too far. cycling is the best execise going, cos its actually usefull and liberating, as gen sed. im loving the endorphines most of all. id forgotten what they felt like!
