I would rather listen to piratenhits TBH (at least I can improve my Dutch, I try to listen to or read at least one thing in a language other than English that I understand every day, this is what makes learning languages easier)

this shite has infested our country too – I’d be less judgmental about it if it were genuinely harmless but it helps fuel an aggressive, competitive culture at all venues playing such music (and also encourages aggressive road use/driving and DUI)to the point people end up getting hurt and my town needs a special Police unit and ambulances on standby simply to deal with the aftermath. the worst part of it is many of those who are both perpetrators and victims are otherwise normal well behaved middle class kids who just get a bit too aggressive after a few drinks (even if they take “fun” drugs as well) or decide to drive when they should not (cars being an obvious part of this culture) and fuck their lives and those of others up for years afterwards.
