Just uploaded a new mix of really good techno (mainly) based on the 3:4 time signature (with some good jackin techno and schranz for good measure).

If none of these terms mean anything to you, you should check it out. New styles make me happy :love:

Its bouncy, its skippy and its techno as fuck.

Not very good with track lists, but I got all of these tunes from either ‘Kinetek’ or ‘Tripple Vision’ online record shops.

Look up labels like JackStar, Killaz, Nerven, 50hz for a start.

If you leave a timed comment on soundcloud I will gladly tell you what the tune is, but I am v lazy I’m afraid. (Most of the tunes are on those labels anyway).

I have also discovered that calling this style 3/4 is a bit misleading as it actually has a 4/4 beat (4 beats to the bar), but is arranged in triplets. If anybody can tell me how you would go about writing this down in musical notation I would be very happy indeed =)

yeah i was listening and i was sure it was 4/4. thought i was going mad and the music was just melting my brain .. turns out i was right and it was 4/4.. but i fear it still melted my brain as the left side of my face is now perminently numb after listening to your mix :s

Sorry – forgot to mention that ‘Peanut butter jelly time’ is deffo on JackStar records. Its called ‘Say hello to my peanut’ by Buchecha and its on a compilation ep called ‘All roads to jacksville’.
