Here goes then, im mel nice to meet you all.
got into raving by accident in `89 in blackburn, im only 27 now but when i was younger i used to go with my mam to pick up her brother (my uncle) from most of the illegal raves round blackburn and the north west.
we went once and the thing that got hold of me was when me and my mam got to this busted rave, was all the people climbing out of any sort of escape route to evade the filth:ar15: it looked like a real good buzz, people of their tits and swimming through the canal just basically not giving a fuck and giving the filth the runaround good style.
so i started collecting flyers from back then and nicking my uncles tapes from the raves.
first went raving in 95 in manchester bowlers (life) and then met like minded people and it just basically evolved from there really.
music tastes – drum n bass, breakz, hip hop , meatal , acid house , old skool , trance , punk , indie , pretty much anything really.
