there is a size limit for pixel size and the amount of computer memory it takes up.

Avatars appear every time someone posts, if we were all allowed 5 meg pics just as avatars it would cane bandwidth we can use for cooler stuff and lag up the forum in every country of the world as ISPs tend to notice stuff like this and turn on the traffic shaping.

if you right click on the properties of the picture you can see how much memory it takes up. Use your favourite software to resize this and save it as the correct type, colour depth etc. these things matter, as you can reduce the size. I only got the big one because there are just 3 spot colours in it. it can be a bit like old skool days with dial up websites (if you remember them)

This isn’t making any sense cos gazza pic was huge before, no he’s gone throught the motions of changing it and putting the original one back it has shrunk somewhat. Hmm

Fear not young private, we cannot have you on the fron lines without an adequate avatar, i’m gonna have a nap quick cos my sides and back is killing me running around after my GF all day, and since she’s nodded of i’m gonna do the same while I can.
