i need some help with identifying the type of techno thats on dave the drummer@the black box-dark noizez. it goes on for the first 15 minutes of the download (downloaded from here) it just sounds really interesting and funky, and i wouldnt mind finding some more

September 27, 2008 at 9:07 am #1179813I think the genre you are looking for is schranz maybe – characterised by the white noise/distortion like sound in the tunes – that was a good track right enough.
The vocal sample was one night in hackney [stay up forever] but if thats the name of the track I dont remember hearing it [we have some keen SUF lovers amongst our djs] played – anyone else help out here? SUF back catalogue is not my strong point 😉
Future Analogue plays schranz on a saturday night on pv radio btw when he plays the DrumClinic Djs radio slot – maybe tune in and see if its what you are looking for :groucho:
