Mate if I lived in America I’d be with you. Sounds so cliched but kinda always wanted that “fuck the system” lifestyle where I have no responsibility except myself and freedom to do as and go wherever I please. Or I at least want a taste of it some time even if it turns out it’s not for me. Hearing about people like you and the stories my gf comes out with (she spent 16 years traveling the world labouring as you have done where and when she could) this has led to all sorts of madness. She even spent 18 month as a dominatrix in NZ. Insanity that sounds so appealing.

That’s the travelling part not being butt fucked my a leather clad woman with a 10 inch strap on lol.

liked the tunnel video. i was lucky enough to get a ride on the front verandah of a brake van (U.S. “caboose”) being propelled through cowburn tunnel back before British Rail stopped letting people do such things. only a fraction over 2 miles long, but with nothing between me and the blackness and the water streaming from the roof. i’ve loved rail tunnels ever since.

we used to have box vans here even into the 1980s, gl. ford for instance used long 4wheeled ones where the whole side slid to allow forklifts to load and unload pallets. but I think most rail traffic these days goes in block trains of special purpose wagons, like the big bogie hoppers we saw in the video, or in containers on flat wagons.

Similar bogie hopper wagons are used here but our loading gauge is smaller and i think they’d be a bit cramped for riding. you would find it hard gettinga ride too i think as we don’t, by and large, have big marshalling yards any more either, most freight runs siding to siding. also with stations and populated areas every few miles, someone would be quite likely to notice you and get the train stopped unfortunately.

Would be awesome to have a PV meet up in the states with shoey. Would deffo be one for the photo album.
