One difference with PV is our users are spread out worldwide – many may lurk rather than post because English is not their first language and it takes a long time to compose a message.

Ffor instance translating French content takes me up to 1/2 an hour and possibly up to an hour to post in French depending on length, and even then I think I have fucked up somewhere in the translation..

others appear to be in occupations where they may be able to snatch a few minutes of the lunch hour checking the calendar and perhaps reading a few articles but just do not have the spare time to post anything..

also SJ is blocked in many offices (unsurprisingly TBH!) – and since that happened where I work I simply no longer have time to find the good stuff (there is some) amongst all the trolls, and I can speak to all my friends on there at parties or in real life anyway…
