All but 2 of the people i know prefer nightclubs and think that raves are a dangerous place to be (ahem) so its a little hard to find someone to talk to on the subject.

Also my apologies if i sound stupid for most of the time, prettymuch a “newbie” 😉

i wont pretend to you that inner city raves arent dangerous places if you dont have you wits about you, but with them its all about safety in numbers and a bit of street smarts.

on the other hand, if you are in the countryside (or fancy a mish) outdoor party season is nearly upon us, and they are safe as fuck. i’ve been helping to put on parties for four years and we have never had a single fight or mugging (to my knowledge) at one of our raves.

also, dont worry about bein a newb, at the end of the day you will have a fresh perspective that is essential to keeping these events lively, entertaining and relevent. no one wants to see the scene stagnate, so all ideas, nomatter how “stupid” they may seem are always welcome. we cant think of everything, so the more feedback and comments and ideas we get are all massively welcome. who knows, you could inspire us all into changing the nature and style of our parties! that aint gonna happen if you are too concerned with seeming cool.
