      I think his main job is refurbing and reselling studio equipment for small to medium size broadcasters in Germany (although he does appear to have some English clients) – although he doesn’t publicise his company online (probably got plenty of regular work as it is, as community radio is more developed in mainland Northern Europe).

      Many big stations which have gone to IP based automation are selling off their analogue kit for near scrap value to anyone with a van big enough to haul it away in. it is likely to have been ragged quite hard and need some repair/maintenance but its all proper “man sized” components inside for most of it which are easily obtainable from Radiospares/Farnell etc..
