this is really good, works with both keyboard and mouse – also allows you to switch multiple stacks of carts via keyboard, play out multiple carts at once, and even got a panic button to stop them all if you manage to moose it all up somehow. certainly would be handy for online radio should your main playout system (decks, controller etc) go pear shaped as well as other stuff like office presentations, theatre & live multimedia perfomances etc.
it doesn’t have the full playout/log facilities like the UK’s sonicart software nor things like fader start but it does make the best use of the screen space and is perfect if you aren’t needing timed ads or having to log things for Ofcom/Agentschap Telecom or the local administration.
Also it does not try to do “clever” things like EQ the local playout which is another opportunity for “hele grote fuck ups”.
This and the metering software can be used to turn an old XP machine into something what used to cost €6000 just a few years ago (and in some cases was actually based on a Windoze 98 machine and only did the streaming bit).
NB (of toch LET OP?) – the install will be in Dutch and the program defaults to Dutch. it can be easily set to English and if anyone is using it and runs into problems I will help them (I left mine set in Dutch in the end).
The cheat sheet is also in Dutch, but I will translate it at some point.

June 8, 2012 at 10:48 am #1254487don’t be alarmed by this – even if you haven’t got past the installer the buttons for the windows installer are the same place in both languages.
after that start the program up, click on the gear wheel which unearths the settings menu. one option will say “taal”. change this to Engels and restart the program.
