Hey everyone, long time lurker.

Let me tell you a little about myself, for anyone interested.

After much hate for the club scene in my home town, i decided to buy my own sound system and setup events all over the north east that was back in December 09 and they’ve pretty much been a success. The first party we did was in Durham in the old abandoned swimming pool (silly idea) but had to be done as the building is amazing. We cleaned it up for weeks trying to make it safe for everyone, had a good 4 hours of music until 93% of Durhams police force showed up with armed response? :yakk:

I’m pretty sure they over reacted on that one, as there as only 100 of us. The next few parties we did around Stockton / Middlesbrough were closed down by police an hour into them. As clubs from my town were sending in spies to close us down, which is madly pathetic. Since then I’ve been doing them in different places with a good sized decent crowd and met hundreds of fantastic people, doing these events has been one of the best ideas I’ve carried out simply because of the people Ive met along the way. Since reading posts about raves and parties all over i thought I’d join finally and hopefully meet some good contacts over here as well!
