Yeah I get what you are saying and as I said I, sadly, am too young even at 27 to remember what was by all accounts the real golden days.
It is surprising when you do touch lucky and find a party that you can really cut loose at it is either people who are a fair bit older (late 30’s) and not really into it any more or the young guns (18ish) who have read about the old times and want to experience it. I find when you get people who are trying to keep things alive they try too hard and it creates a pressure/atmosphere and as you said, people hive off into their subgroups.
If people want to get to a place where we can all just party regardless of any differences its time to stop trying to re-kindle the past and work together to create a future.
Well IMO anyway . . . .
I guess this is possibly not the best way for them to find out about it if we dont want mass press outcries and banning orders quickly too . . .

I think I was quite lucky to get involved in the scene when I was young and get to experience some really awesome parties up in the welsh hills – im sure these were nothing compared to the real scene when it first kicked off.

I think people have just gotten too cynical now and even those who declare themselves free and open minded make a judgement on those different than them – what ever happened to people coming together because all they wanted to do was feel the music and dance 🙂

Yeah – the boy got skillz – pity his fame is attracting mucho hate from some of the hardcore in the scene because lets face it – he sounds good!
Its good to flip about – im not a great fan of those who love one specific style or genre and wont move – even if they themselves like the sound – because its not “their style” or because its too “commercial”.
