cue dry ice, strobe light and kettle drum as ‘consternation’ is represented through the medium of dance by a tatoo’d dwarf…
edit.. a late entry..thank you thank you
I’ve heard a couple of MC’s with something to say about the world and I think these are some good lyrics.
I think this could go nicely with some of the tunes that DJ Rubbish spins.
😎
I’ve only ever been to Birmingham once in my life. I’m amazed anyone stays there. Mind you, if everyone thought like I do and left the cities, my gaff would end up in the same situation as the one I’m trying to avoid.
thanks for posting.. and welcome to PVC

last time i looked, SITE had made 666 posts, the beast.
is there a pattern emerging here?
are we all doomed to burn for our love of dancing?
naaa, i’m sure there’s bigger fish to fry
dudes. still very into this idea. three live bands played at our last party and it went down a storm
party on private land by ‘invitation’ in devon on bank holiday. if you have a demo tape and can make it this far south and west on that weekend, please PM me and we can see how things fit
technics have that solidness to them that makes them the decks of choice, but they are a bit pricey for a lot of people, especially if you’re only going to use them at home.
if you need to cart them around, technics just feel more able to sustain the occasional knock.
I have a pair of Numark TT1625. For home decks they are ideal. the platter picks up as quick as 1210’s, but the torque is quite manageable, giving a smooth ride during those fine touches. The pitch control has less drag than technics, so you need to be a little bit ore careful than with technics.
I picked them up second-hand-nearly-new with a Vestax Pcv 275 mixer for £300. can’t argue with that.

great stuff. I’m organising parties in Devon and always try to include a couple of live bands…the collectiv; live D&B/dub-roll and The Tourettes; mad street poetry/ska/punk.
I feel that the party-goers come from much more diverse musical backgrounds than just dance music, and that should be represented by the parties. After all, historically, the rave scene was a conglomeration of hippies, druids and people from the club scene.
if any of you can travel this far south, get in touch via this site and we can take it from there. Bring it on
the rigggedy wiggedyfo real mo fo kinsounds you like are in the westcountry
every day you like but not for you
oh, and btw, if you want some really rolling old jungle, this might be older than you asked about, but in my humble opinion you can’t go wrong with…drumroll please (oh, no need, kicking beat already)
Genocide II, Narra Mine
Genocide II, Death of a Kamakazecan’t go wrong
for a really wide range of excellent dub, check out dub-hunters “bloodand fire samplers”; a Manchester outfit that search for 7″ from good dub artists that had only a minimal original pressing/release, then they compile ad re-release. look for “Dub Wise and other wise” albums.
Also, lots of very good current artists on Dub Head Recordings…look out for Love Grocer (sexy sprouts? lettuce hope not)
hope that rocks your boat
