it saves scrolling back up (although i have to scroll down to reach it)
I think it would be good if people could return either to the forum they are in or to active topics with one click?

ale is grotty
even if you don’t like drinking it, you can cook with it and it gives cheaper cuts of beef a great flavour

sounds nice glo, but surely the beer makes it expensive as it is?
a bottle of ale costs 99p in my local offy and is enough for a pot of beef stew for 6 people

Can anyone suggest some cheap meals that dont involve beans and toatst or thost 2p sausages? All ideas greatly received, cooking isnt my strongist point!
get some cheap braising steak, a bottle of beer (spitfire is good), an onion, a carrot and a big flat mushroom or two
you also need a bit of butter, plain flour, a vegetable or beef stock and tomato puree
for a tasty dish
if it sounds good i’ll give you the recipe

the first plan is American and would be unlikely to work on the 230V AC single phase UK power system [/quote]
i’ve spoken to him and he provides kits for a number of countries, inlcudinding the UK
Quote:In this country, feeding electric back into the grid needs approval from both your electric supplier and your distributor (such as Western Power Distribution, EDF or SSE) as well as a part P qualified sparky to do the work because of to the safety issues and it has to be co-ordinated with the distributor so the service fuse can be pulled to get your meter/tails/changeover kit/inverter connected safely. (this is all complicated and expensive, more so due to the bureaucracy and conflicting commercial interests at play here)granted the actual hook up has to be done by someone qualified, but you can save about £5000 by building the rest of the kit yourself
@DJCliffy 322198 wrote:
You can buy the same plans on Ebay for naff all!
do they include the plans to run the electricity straight into your meter at home, in layman’s terms? cos that’s the hard part
if so, link me up!
did you get a reciept? does it say sold as seen? if not you can ask for your money back
