that’s quite a nice time scale though! really must give it some thought regarding returning. Love the way there’s no frills as you say, from what I remember there’s no blocking moves that dont attack, its just straight to the point. Sure my bloke used to say you should be able to knock someone out in 2 hits by bouncing the brain off the skull and that they dont do contact competitions as its too dangerous and not for display. love it, be good for those hackney partys lol
good luck with it squire!
May 25, 2010 at 10:41 pm #1226335yeah it’s all about geting in quick and hurting them badly lol … alltho you can be nice and do things that will just knock them out and walk off .. propper wing chun it fucking nasty shit. mixed with this other shit i’m learning … it’s scary … borken arms/legs/fingures in seconds …
my teacher is also learning some stuff from this showlin monk atm and he’s teaching me a bit of that too … bloody hurts when you do it softly .. can’t imagin what it would do if you actualy ment it Oo

I hope it teaches good impulse control too! Thats one thing that worrys me, I would almost rather get hurt myself that end up badly hurting someone else. Need to work on that though.
May 25, 2010 at 10:48 pm #1226336i’m really placid so allready have good controll over that kinda stuff (with regards to physical confrontations any way – impulse controll with regards to drugs not sure kung fu can teach me lol).
I just wanna be able to kick arse properly if i ever need to lol – had scraps when i was younger .. won some lost some ect. ect. but since i got attacked by a group of people with wepons a few years back and got quite badly hurt i’ve been wanting to learn something like this so if the shit really hits the fan i’ll be able to do something about it you know.
