right im looking for some turntables to add to my live set up … cd players are nice to work with but i miss vinyl terribly…
so any turntables youve tried or heard about just post up what info youve got … any info appreciated ๐
i can spare a couple of hundred squids, nothing more than 300ยฃ … im looking hopefully for two in that price but will push a little more if need be, these are pretty much the last decks ill be buying due to a move up north later this year so im not wanting to pay a great deal more than i have to.
(these decks will be used live sooooo i need them to work well)
thanks all, tomm ๐

March 27, 2007 at 9:03 am #1101878possibly on ebay, or a second hand electrical shop (if there is one near you) … if you have a local independant record store, it might be worth asking or sticking up an advert
March 27, 2007 at 3:06 pm #1101886i was advised to check out pawn shops (nearly wrote porn haha), ive been looking on ebay but as with all items they seem all nice and cheap until the last 3 and a half minutes of bidding
it seems like an advert is one of the better ideas and would work, local record shops dont exist in newbury, closest is in reading and i dont think they deal in anything except vinyl, asking wouldnt hurt i guess
cheers G ๐

i never used to use it, got pissed off with trying to buy stuff and obviously been beaten to things because of it…. does make the whole ebay thing a bit unfair though
March 28, 2007 at 11:26 am #1101888they should have a rule that if youve bid on the item in the first few days then youll be able to follow the bid until the end possibly to even win the item
no one bids on an item for several days then jump in at < 3 minutes
March 28, 2007 at 5:29 pm #1101881You just need to be patient – eventually you will find them at the right price
